2011 CONFERENCES
NCHSD is hosting a pre-conference meeting on Monday, May 9, the day before the CMS MIG Employment Summit begins in Denver, Colorado. All MIG grantees and partners are welcome to participate. There is no registration fee.
The meeting will start with a working lunch at noon, and continue with an opening discussion with special guest Alan Weil, Executive Director of the National Academy for State Health Policy, addressing the challenges facing Medicaid as the Affordable Care Act is implemented. Small group conversations will allow states to explore state-specific implementation issues affecting working people with disabilities, including Medicaid Buy-In, work incentives planning, and long-term employment supports.
