The October edition features articles on the release of an RFP for design work for the MIG national marketing campaign collaboration, Ticket outreach and training events in West Virginia, Washington and Montana, and the Kansas MIG's new data inventory. There is also information about MIG-RATS' integrated data RFP process and NCHSD's new Integrated Data Access forum on the MIG Discussion Board (http://forums.nchsd.org/).

2008 Fall Conference eNews

This special edition of eNews offers summaries of the sessions at NCHSD's 2008 Fall Conference held in Chicago September 3-4. Randy Lewis of Walgreens delivered the opening keynote, while an address by Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky concluded the conference. Session topics included developing business leadership, embedding employment services in Medicaid infrastructure, submitting a proposal for a custom integrated data analysis, meeting employers' need for services, building employment supports infrastructure, strengthening government support, marketing systems change, using web-based technologies, problem-solving Ticket to Work, supporting individuals with psychiatric disabilities, exploring rural disability issues, expanding opportunities for disability-owned businesses, and collaborating on national marketing efforts.

September 2008 eNews

This month's issue covers the Ticket to Work Toolkit for MIGs, Florida's new MIG Task Force, and Oregon's involvement in the US Business Leadership Network national conference. Also mentioned are outreach events MIGs are conducting in Maine, Connecticut, Louisiana, Wyoming and Utah, including conferences, job fairs, business summits, and trainings.
